She said, “We had a very strong connection from the start. It was love at first sight. He’s a very gentle giant of a man. He has a wonderful way of looking at the world. I appreciate that. He walks into a room and radiates this wonderful spirit and overwhelming presence.” Heidi says one of the main reasons their marriage works is because they are comfortable and honest with each other. She added, “One of the things I love the most is that we can be spontaneous. He spends hours playing with our children and explaining things. It’s beautiful to see that in a man. I was looking for someone you can be yourself with, have fun with and not worry about putting on an act.”
