The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode was set up by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala as the 5th Indian Institute of Management. Being a part of IIM family of institutions, which have earned worldwide reputation for academic excellence, the Institute strives hard for maintaining international standards in all of its academic activity.

The Institute is aiming to emerge as an internationally reckoned fully integrated management institute of higher learning.
